Hi, what do you think a pair of these skis on a trailer are worth? They look good in pictures and have 106 hours each. The superchargers were not rebuilt. They were kept in a garage.

I recently sold my 2006 Speedster 200 so I am familiar with the engines and supercharger issues.
Thanks

I'd guess around $8000 to $8500 for the 2 ski's and the trailer assuming they are both in good running condition and you can do a test ride on both. You might want to pull the oil filter and inspect it if you can get away with it.

Worth the 10 grand area, but I bet they can be bought for closer to 8 grand if you go with cash. I paid in 2011 for a new untitled 2009 RXT-X 255 $9999.00 and $10,100.00 for a 2010 GTX.

Like above.. the market and region sets the value. I think you could get 8k in a quick sale or hold out for 10k and get it in a couple months once seasons coming around.

This pair, I think I could get for $8000 cash at most $8500.

I am really concerned with the valve issue more than anything else. The SC's I will take out and send for rebuild. I am unsure if either have the bad valves but, if they do should I run the other way? Are the valves a sure failure for pre 2007 models or are we talking about less than 50% chance?

Valve failure is very low, probably 2% or less that I've seen but it depends on if it was maintained properly more than anything. Everybody seems to remember the one failure and forgets about the 50 that are still running perfectly bone stock. The FL saltwater air is probably worse for the valves. The value of these skis are a little lower in FL but typically don't last nearly as long as their midwest counterparts so the value adjusts itself.
