2006 ECU compatibility

Do you guys know if the 2006 215 from an RXT is a one off ECU? I recently bought a project ski that had some parts swapped unknown to me at the time. So, I am looking for a ECU part number 420664946. 664946 Even though I should not need one. It would seem that 2006 might be an oddball for electronics as it has some changes in the electronics, but it still uses an mpem. looks like 2007 was the last year of the Mpem, so I am not sure if there are other years that swap out?

Can anyone confirm what ecu's will work in this ski? My parts needed list is piling up..

Best I can tell at this point is the 2006 is the first year of the digital gauges that get married to the ECU & track power on hours separately from the engine run hours in the ECU. So all seems the same as my 2008 externally except the 2006 has an MPEM where the 2008 does not. Does that make the 2006 a one year only ECU?

For now I guess am searching for a 2006 215hp ECU. correct?

Yes, the 06 is a transition year for several things and makes it an oddball. The boats are typically behind a year or two so they used that ECU as well. Here's the list where that ECU is used...

That helps a bunch, however I am guessing far less boats get parted out so finding a boat ECU might be less likely?

There are a couple of them on eBay right now, but they have a huge price tag & have been relisted a couple times. Not sure how often reasonable priced 664946 ECU's come up?

The 2006 uses a ecm and mpem the 2007 uses just the ecm no mpem
