this is the 2-stroke model
Last time i took out my boat it started hesitating when i would give it throttle and ran rough intermitently so i went back and trailered it immediately.
I got it home, checked the spark plugs and they were not looking great (only had 4 runs this year on them) so i changed them and added some fuel treatment (that was approved for 2 stroke motors)
I took it out again today, and it started up fine, but gave me a long single beep. I pulled away from the dock to see if it did it again and about 30 seconds later it did (and i started smelling something a little unusual). SO, i trailered it again and brought it home.
Does anyone have an idea of what this could be? I would like to avoid taking it to one of the few dealerships in the Dallas area that works on Seadoos since they like to charge $110/hr labor. If i must do that, i will, but i would really prefer not to.
THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY HELP!!
