2005 sporster supercharger rebuild plus mods help

Okay I am new to this but I think I am on the right track Ive learned so much already from the forum but still have questions.

05 sportster supercharged approx 70hrs

So I want to get my supercharger rebuilt

I understand that I want 08 spec rebuild kit

Now it says it comes with metal washers is it necessary to also purchase rivas metal washers?

I also want to put this in at the time of rebuild

Now is this all I need no other bearings etc? Will my current housing accept this? Any issues I should know of?

By getting more boost out of my boat am I getting myself into a possible headache? I want a problem free boat.


I also want to upgrade my intake grate any recommendations? What fits?

I also believe I may need a different impeller or a wedge for my pump may be okay?

Finally how much of a increase in performance should I get any estimates?

unless your are going to uprate the valve train put in bigger injectors and bigger intercooler and a raceing ecu and a power filter with that wheel i dont think you would even notice the difference
pm sporster joel on the supercharger kit he knows a guy that rebuilds them for a good price
