2005 rxt 4tec no power or beebs when dess key is plugged in

hello, i have a rxt 4tec and im not getting any beeps or power to the gauges when the dess is plugged in. i checked and cleaned all the conections and the battery is fully charged.......im stumped plz help.

Your DESS post may be faulty. Make sure to clean the key itself. It's magnetic and will often attract small debris that ruin the connection.

the contacts in the key its self can oxidies especially if your running in salt water..use a Cutip and some rubbing alcohol to clean the inside of the key...start with the obveious first
