hey all ! new to the forum & new to owning a sea doo . i picked up an 05 rxt 215 with 114hrs (now 118hrs) last week . the previous owner stated that it has a Solas 13/18 impeller and wear ring and that the supercharger was rebuilt at 65 hours . unfortunately i have no proof of either of these claims . i’m not very knowledgeable on these skis so i have quiet a few questions ...
Best oil/filter to use , how much does the ski take and how often to change
Best antifreeze to use
Best spark plugs to use
over the weekend i was riding on fairly calm water with just over half a tank of fuel , a small bag with clothing and myself (150 pounds) and the speedo only read 57mph . seems kind of slow compared to what i was reading so anybody with insight on this please share .
also what are some ways i could pick up some speed without sacrificing reliability ?
