Hope someone can help me with this one. I was out a week ago, then again today. I just bought a 2005 rxp and had a moter change 46 hours ago and new super charger rebuild kit instauled 14 hours ago! When ripping around last week the Seadoo was studdering almost like the super charger was kicking on then off! I held the throttle on for blast was hitting 7200 rpm only then after about a min of that the unit would run Beutiful after that? Fift thought was that I might of had somthing in the fuel injector. But today was the same thing, same studdder, then would run fine??

I would check the supercharger and make sure it isnt blown. Take intake hose off and see if the wheel in the charger spins. If it does its blown
reason i say check the supercharger is 1) its the most common problem and 2) the most distructive. I would recomen if this ski is new to you spend the money and have the super charger rebuilt even if you know it been done and ill explain why. These skis come with ceramic washers and what happens even when brand new can start sliping witch will cuase low rpm's and if not fixed will break and go all through your motor and wreck you oil pumps. get a rebuild kit and RIVA washers. If gears and bearing are within spec you can get away with just installin the riva washers.

I will go out now and have a look!! What if the power is intermitent only in the beginning (first minute of riding) then I hit the 8300 rpm mark after that??

the problem could be caused by a number of things. just check and make sure the supercharger is ok. another place to start would be spark plugs, there cheap so maybe get some new ones.

If you are hitting the 8300 rpms you charger is most likely fine....it could be slipping a little though.

Also...u said your charger was rebuilt not too many hours ago...i am pretty sure that the rebuild kits now come with the metal washers so you might be ok in that department. Someone correct me if I am wrong...but I have an OEM rebuild kit right here and the washers are metal.

Nope not toast....it would spin freely if your washers were done. Are you sure it was rebuilt not too many hours ago? How many hours on on the ski?

I am going to go with what joel says...check the spark plugs quick and cheap thing to rule out.

when I was riding the funny thing was is when I hit my own waves it would make the power boost then back off again?? could it be any wiriing thing or cavitation

aslong as it doesnt spin all the way around u should be good but make sure your have updated metal washers in it. Check you spark plugs keep track of the cylinder each one come out of, and make sure there good.

OK pulled #1 Burnt .635 mm
#2 Burnt .787 mm
#3 Burnt .635 mm
there is a brown ring around the base of the porcilin on all plugs

I changed the plugs today and went for a ride! My problem is now fixed Thank You everyone who helped with this!
