2005 GTX 155

Hey guys,

I’m looking at a 2005 GTX 155 for about 7250$ in Canada including trailer.

Theres about 140 hours on the machine.

Compression is 130 on all cylinders.

I have heard the 2004-early 2006 models have issues with the valves dropping and was wondering if the valves on the 155 are the same as the supercharged ones?

Would this be a good purchase or stay away?

Same valves but the sc versions run at higher rpms so they problem is mostly just with them but really depends on the environment and how it has been maintained. That isn't something I would worry about on a freshwater 155 machine.
Very reliable machine and as long as everything checks out it should be fine. Can't comment on the price since everything is still through the roof but I have a 2005 gtx 155 I'll be selling late spring for $4500.
