2004 xp di maint

I just bought this 2004 xp di when it started saying 12v low, so i checked the battery and it was good then i checked if it was receiving a charge and that was good to at 13.5 volts to its not the rectifier or the battery. Now every time i start it its only saying Maint. so it stopped saying 12v low and now only saying maint. Can anyone help me with this problem

I think with the Di skis, you have to get a dealer to clear the codes. Even if you fix the problem.

so do you think that there is something wrong with it or is it just a routing maintenance warning?
