Looking for the passenger side windscreen, the one on the boat is cracked!! Actually I think the driver/passenger windscreens are both the same...so let me know what you got..lol

Good Luck!!! they are hard to find used. New they are like $200 though. Crazy for just a piece of plastic. Makes ya wonder why no company makes aftermarket parts like they do for cars.

ya..I figured I'd give it a shot!! May just end up fixing it, just that things like that bother me and then I end up spending the $200 just for piece of mind!! lol

Take a pic and post it up. Both of mine have had to be fixed and you can hardly tell. They were both broken down by the hinge though.

That's exactly were it broke!! The passenger hinge is a little tight so I guess it strained the windscreen and broke off. I guess it could be plastic welded back on, or possibly epoxy??

I would have to take a pic to show you probably. I drilled out the rivets. Then used a metric screw that had a small allen cap on it and is rounded so it barely sticks up. They come in black. It screwed right into the metal part that is already on the underside that is threaded. Looks fine and I used a small rubber o ring under the head of the screw so they dont leak. You can barely tell.

Thanks Foster...a picture would be great if possible. My friend that told me about it just e-mailed me saying it was a clean break at the hinge and that he thinks it could just be rivitted back on..??

Sounds like the same problem I had. rivets would work. I just opted for bolts with nuts instead. I will try to get a pic. It might take a few days though. Its all snuggled up for the winter..lol

I would be real interested in seeing the pics too, my passenger side screen has snapped right off at the hinge and I was trying to figure out a way to do a repair rather than replace

I ended up ordering a new screen, cost me $196.00!! Was worth it since I tried repairing it and ended up breaking again.
