So I have a 2004 seadoo gtx 4tec supercharged. My cluster doesn’t work so I have to get that fixed. No issues starting or running but this weird thing started to happen, when I’m riding about every 15 minutes-half hour the ski makes one long beep about 3 seconds long. No performance of the ski changes just the beep concerns me that something might be wrong. Any ideas?

Pretty sure one long beep is warning of a DESS issue, believe it's telling you the DESS isn't working correctly, the MPEM isn't or there is a fault in the harness. Given your display isn't working I'd suspect it's related as they share common data paths.

Thank You Greg

Yep ... it's the gauge cluster causing that problem. I'll be you lunch it has water in it and a lot of corrosion on the electrical connection. The bad part is how much those information centers cost!!! Yikes!!!

I'm thinking of opening my own information center repair business, but it's too hard to find parts. ;-)
