2004 SeaDoo GTX 4-TEC problem

On the lake today. Shut off ski and could not get it to re-start. I push start and it would make a click sound twice but not kick over. I felt hot under seat. Took off seat and smoke coming out bad. Got towed in. An ideas? This thing has been in the shop so many times. Getting old.

disconnect the driveshaft and try to turn the engine over by hand. That will tell you wether its lockd up or not.
