2004 RXP died and won't restart - HELP

Hey all, hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

Was out on the water for over an hour and everything was great when suddenly it just died (and I think it made an abnormal sound when it did). Wouldn't start up again for 30 minutes of trying. Would turn over for a split second but never fire.

Once I got it off the lake I tried to start it again, charged the battery to 100% and tried again. Won't fire at all.

Took the seat off to listen and something is spooling up for a moment or turning when it tries to start (supercharger?) but nothing.

When I put the laynard on I get 2 beeps then 4 quick beeps every 10 seconds.

What to try now? Ideas?

My 05 SEADOO RXT did the same thing. have you found out what the problem is yet?

Same shit here on 2005 RXT ..., did any of you guys figure it out ? I want to go back on the water and it will take the dealer 3 weeks to just take a look at it ....

it sounds like a bad starter to me.

The starter cranks the engine good..., or what starter do you mean ?

The original post stated he heard "a spooling sound". i figured it might have been the starter gear not engaging.
