I have a pair of 2004 RXP's with blown engines. Long story but in short bought them this way. I have heard that the 215hp supercharged engines are very popular but money is an object. Is there another engine that may be more affordable that would work or do I need to just cough up the big bucks for the 215hp? Any advice and or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Buy replacement rebuilt 215 hp 4TEC engines for them from SBT. You need to go back with the same model engines... the carb and ignition system is all computer controlled and the computer expects the engine to match the year and model of the craft it's in.

Google "SBT SeaDoo" and you'll find them. They sell remanufactured PWC engines. Some swear by them, some hate them, but they do have warranty on their rebuilds. I don't have personal experience with them, but I'm sure you can search these forums for "SBT" and find people who have.

OK thinking about selling them both any ideas on whether I should part them out or sell them the way they are complete minus engine and drive pump? Both very nice.
