2004 GTX limited 215hp wanted ECU

Hi you will see by my other post I am having problems with my ski
I am told I need a ECU for my 2004 GTX limited 215 hp if some one has one for sale in the UK
Or if any one on the IOW can help me by letting me try there's to see if my problem is ECU related
My mode button works when engine is not running but when you start the engine it stops working and I have red light flashing after about 5 min's running on the hose I get oil up on the display and the ski goes into limp mode ?
Fault code is P0600

Pretty sure the 2004 GTX LTD is only 185hp. I think 2005 the black/silver one was the first 215 GTX LTD. I may have been wrong in your other thread.

Check and see if you have an intercooler at the front of the intake manifold which only the 215s have.

It is a 215 hp Blue and silver limited has been confirmed from the local dealer
But has not been able to fix it . A ECU is the next thing to try the dealer says they are the same ecu just different boost ?

Your dealer is wrong. There was no 215hp GTX LTD in 2004, first year was 2005 black/silver GTX Ltd. Not the same ECU and the blue/silver is not 215hp, it is 185hp. There are many differences between the two, not just boost. Different cam, different tooth number in sc, max rpm is 7600 for 185, 8200 for 215, ECU, no intercooler on 185, etc. The 215 is about 10mph faster and accelerates much harder than the 185.

You need a 2003-2004 185 ECU with a programmed key. I probably have one, let me know if you're interested. I can to ship to the UK.

Hi Thank's But I got in touch with a mainland dealer where I got the other unit from now we know it is not a 215 he has a ecu down there . I am going to tow the ski down there Saturday and let them have a look at it see if they can sort it out .
Will let you know how I get on
