2004 787 seadoo 3d does not turn over!

got to the boat ramp and the lights dont light up and ski doesnt turn over, like the battery is dead but it shows 12.6 volts. battery is only a few months old; the only thing that happens is the bilge pump cycles. lucky 4 me my son wasnt with me that day so i rode his. lol

Any ideas? I havent really had the time to mess around with it any help would be great.

no, nothing happens when i hit the button. no beeps battery conections are good

sorry i just read the 1st post again properly, if theres no lights and no beeps when you put the DESS lanyard on they theres either a problem with the lanyard, the post it clips onto or theres blown fuses so no power is getting to these parts or even the whole computer

Thanks, I suspect the fuses, because the bilge pump cycles; and the DESS key works in my other 3d. Where are the fuses located? is there a box or is it in the handle? what would cause them to blow?

Isnt the DESS key only coded to one ski or have you got it set up for both?

i dont know if your model is the same as mine but there should be some inside either one of the black boxes in front of the engine or in a wiring harness with a small black enclosure, somewhere there should be a 10a fuse for the starter control circuit

for some reason that dess key works in both but the other key doesnt; i have the di model.

i checked the fuse block and sure enough, a 5amp fuse was blown; it must of been for the controls on the handelbar. thanks for the help!
