I recently bought this ski with 116 hours on it and it has been running great but i just noticed when I put the key in it beeps twice which i know is normal but "maint" shows up along with a red light, then when i start the ski the light goes out and "maint" disappears. Is this a normal start-up? Also if i don't start the ski but keep the key in i get 4 short beeps ever few seconds until i start it or take the key out, is this just letting me know the keys in and if so is there a way to disarm it? Thanks!

It's just letting you know the key is on the post but you haven't started the engine. There's no way to disarm it. The "MAINT" at start up is just a reminder of service due. If you want it out then a dealer will have to reset it. Don't worry about this "MAINT" or lite unless it comes on while riding the ski. If it comes on while riding then that is a indicator that something is wrong with the ski and you need to have it looked at.
