Hi, got a 2003 RX DI that has hauled ass for as long as i have had it.
Went for a ride yesterday, and when i went full throttle it started to rev and lost speed. So i drove to shore and started to test it a little bit. If I am careful when i throttle it is going fine, but if I am hard on throttle it only spins and revs but no acceleration.

Can this be a bad Carbon seal?
or a bad Wear ring?

In that case, where can i buy a carbon seal kit?

It could be both... but when it's so bad that you loose speed, or it wont go... that's normally the seal. as far as where to get it... I'm not sure who will ship parts to Norway.

On the link above.... I would get

#4, #6 (two of them), #7, and #8.

The reason for those parts....

#4: On some of the older skis/boats that was an O-ring. the new style is a metal clip. Besides, it's good to have an extra
#6: It's the internal seal for the "Stainless" ring.
#7: It's the carbon seal
#8: the original boot can become less flexible, and doesn't keep the proper tension on the seal.
