My rx puked its guts last weekend. the machine has 90 hours and was running perfect . until the kids got pulled back on it with the motor locked up tight. after some inspection it looks like the balance shaft bearing on the pto side seized and broke the case. so now i am trying to figure out what direction to go in. the motor had perfect compression, carbs were rebuilt last year. do i find a new case replace the balance shaft and reassembly or full rebuild crank and upper end. i can still get a rebuilt short block from seadoo i was just quoted 1280 with a 700 core i have to pay return shipping or rebuild it my self which i am more then capable of doing . i just do not trust the manufactured parts out there. so i guess i am looking for some direction.
