2002 GTX High Revs

I own a 2002 GTX Seadoo. I took it out for a quick ride and with half throttle it revs at 8000. I have checked the antifreeze and oil. On the 4th people rode it for practically the whole day. The engine was really hot so it may have overheated. What else would it be. And how can I fix it.

What RPM's are you getting at full throttle?
You probably have a damaged impeller and wear ring.

I eased it up to about 4000 RPM's right under half throttle. If i try to go above half it will hit rev limiter. And thats all under 20 MPH, no higher.
