2002 GTX DI Problem

Just bought this ski and put fuel into it, then it would run awhile then stop, if it sits for a while it will start back and run for a while then start having the same problem. The owner did say a sensor would come on but not to worry as he thought it was an oxygen sending sensor. Where is the fuel filter located? Do you think it is fuel related. The other ski with same gas is working fine. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

i'd start with, volt testing the battery, while holding around 5500rpm. Should be in the high 13's low 14's. If in the 15's or 12's, replace the rectifier.
