2002 gtx di loss of speed!!!

In need of some ideas! my gtx has been running good until the other day. I noticed as soon as i launched i noticed that it was not pissing that strong. Once i was out of the no wake zone i noticed a lack of speed, then checked the taco meter and it was pushing 6800 ish rpm. I checked the volts on the battery ( i've been doing a little browsing on here and a lot of people somewhat similar issues were cleared up by replacing the rectifier). Any help would be appreciated.

Check the wear ring. IF you are pushing 6800, you are suffering from cavitation...

so i was finally able to put the wear ring, the old one was in rough shape, new jet pump oil and o rings back together and gave it a test run. Right off the trailer it started showing a maintenance code of 12v low. Battery is brand new and pushing 12 volts. It seems like there was another post about this type of issue, so i am going to find it and figure out my new problem. Thanks for all the help.

I would pull the battery and charge it. Do not charge connected unless you are using a very low current charger. Typically the web low is the regulator or battery.
