hows it goinng guy. so i picked up a 02 gtx and i got it not running. first ill start by saying i dont know much this is my first skii. ski runs but maintence light comes on, brought it to a dealer to scan it. told me voltage regulator was bad, so i replacedit. ran it for 20 mins was great, light came back on with a low 12v. so clearly not the regulator, has new battery in it as well. so we figured maybethe stator? ( we did some testing before we pulled, three yellow lines were all .05 ohms. checked for voltage and nothing. so before i go checking, isthere anyway to do a test onthe pickup? or is it somethingthat doesent gobad? any help wouldbeawsome just looking to get the thingfixed.

I'm learning a lot about DI skis now. I'm going to start off and tell you that you're going to need a candoo. With the computer hooked up to it you can see a lot more things. Activate certain things to make sure everything is functioning correctly. You're also going to be able to see different codes that have happened. You also will be able to see if there's an active code why is running. If you just start gassing and throwing Parts at it it's going to get very expensive. Once you know the correct code you'll be able to go into the shop manual and it will give you 3 to 10 things that are setting that code off and then give you the test to perform. A lot of people are very negative on the ski but from what I'm told when they run right they are great

Also not sure where you got your rectifier from but if you buy the cheap one off eBay they are junk. You're better off to buy a newer 4-stroke one and set it up with new connectors

Take a look at OSD seadoo as they sell an upgraded one.

just blows, 150$ a clip everytime guy hooks a scanner up. was debating if it was worth buying a cheaper scanner to have.

and sweet ima check it out. is it a common thing for the pickup trigger, or what ever the proper name is it to go bad? just strange that its putting out nothing. not sure exactly what it does? just figured another eletric part who knows. lol thanks for input so far guys!

Three very common issues with the DI - bad rectifier, weak battery and bad fuel pump....

And I second the idea of getting the Candoo for this machine. It's a must.
