2002 GTX DI - 6000RPM

I have a restored 2002 GTX DI that hasn't been ridden much at all in the last year. Ski starts right up, has maybe 5 hours on the engine. I found a leaking Water Control Valve and the raves were starting to lift as I revved the engine on the trailer in the driveway. I plan on removing the raves, cleaning and testing. I'll test them first on the ski with my handy dandy hand pump. :D The ski rived up to 6700 for me so I didn't think much of it other than it needed to loosen up and the fuel might not have the proper punch.

I don't have the ski on the premises but I'm planning ahead. I could still have water control valve issues or water flow issues but when I tested the ski everything was cool, idle is great, no stuttering and it has the get up and go like normal. Battery is hot. I have a Candoo but generally issues are solved by good old fashioned troubleshooting. Fortunately for me, I have (2) running DI's in the yard to compare.

Any thoughts from the DI gurus or just in general?

I didn't plan on troubleshooting the engine today but i figured what the heck. I had just completed installing an OPAS blockoff kit and it was still daylight. :) I saw the raves moving when testing in the driveway a few weeks ago. I'm not a guy that revs the ski in the driveway so it wasn't much of a test. I just saw they were moving, the caps were off and the springs were out. Just a quick observation. I found a rev-limiting killer in the damaged and leaking diaphragm on Water Box Rave so I figured that was the problem.

Anyway, today I pulled the hose line off the rave solenoid, removed the caps, springs, and pressured the system VIA my pulse air pump. No movement on either valve. I did and soap bubble test and the MAG rave was leaking badly. I figure that was the problem the guy was having. I ordered to rebuild kits from OSD. When they come in I believe that will solve the problem. They have have been opening just a little but they were stuck. I keep telling people they have to ride these skis and not let them sit.
