I am not sure there is actually. Most automotive fuel pumps produce way more than 27 psi because they are not using air injectors to make up the rest of the pressure like a DI. In addition to that there is no reason for them to be low amp as a car has plenty of power to spare.
I think it comes down to poor manufacturing and no testing with the DI replacement pumps and there was the same problem with the KTM dirt bike pumps until a smart guy started looking into it. Check out this video..KTM Chinese Fuel Pumps.

i buy second hand fuel pump from RX DI , i test the RX DI before buy the fuel pump and jetski work perf, so now the charging is ok THANK YOU,goes to 6600 RPM and only 43-44 mph, how can be possible that?, may be the impeller get suck in air (cavitation), may be my MPEM is crashed or R.A.V.E. valve are not work well...
