I am getting a check engine light after a few minutes of usage in water. Code of P0116. Looked up code and it mentiones the Engine temperature sensor functional problem. Where is this sensor located? Can it be changed easily? Will it clear the problem if I change it?
Thanks!

Not sure if this is what it is referring too, but there is a temp. sensor on your left hand muffler. It should be on the exit flow, where the hose connects to the muffler. The only reason I know this is b/c mine melted off.

I do not know much about these machines, but I would assume that replacing that will not solve your problem. You need to find what caused the overheating. Probably a blockage some where. Check your exhaust hoses, and make sure there is not a soft spot. I had a faulty hose, and the inner wall collapsed, causing blockage and over heating. I had to replace the LH muffler and all the exhaust hoses. However, I am still having issues, so I did not find the root of the problem. Good luck!
