2002 gtx 4tec 50 mph at 7500 rpm?

hello all i just got my 02 gtx 4tec on the water and i am wondering wondering if 50 mph is normal for these skis to be running? it does 50-52ish but it is reaching full RPM of around 7500 i know rev limiter is 7650 so this sounds normal but the top speed doesn't seem to be there considering I've read their top speed to be 55-58? i was thinking wear ring but would a wear ring make that much of a difference?

I have 2005 gtx 155 after about third year running it speed went down to about 54mph at normal rpm changed ring and impeller speed back to 61 mph hope this helps

that definatley does i think it is due for one because as far as i know the ski has 80hrs on with the original ring and after running it in the delaware this season i think it sucked up a stick or something and helped to maybe chew it up some more. thanks for the input!
