My instrument cluster got water in it last week and 5 of the 12 leads corroded loose from the connection to the cluster. I was able to get the wires re soldered by a circuit board tech and we do have continuity but no display or working tack or speedo. I've checked the fuses and all are good unless there are some hiding somewhere. A friend suggested a problem with a ground wire might be the problem. I can't find any problems. I hate to spend $500 or $600 for a new cluster if the problem is actually somewhere else. I did find a used cluster on ebay but the seller says it has some condensation in it and he doesn't accept returns.
