2002 GTI carb cleaning - small hose replacement?

Good day all,
I've been having some problems with the 02 GTI. I ended up pulling the carb off today for a good cleaning. Once I opened that area up I found a small grey hose on the carb, part 44 on any of the card diagrams, part # 270500342 by the book. It's not available anywhere by that part number. And I can't find a fuel line of that small id anywhere, besides some clear cheap looking lawnmower fuel lines. The best description I can find for the part is 90 mm hose. A lot of good that does me.
Now, this doesn't seem to be the evil grey hose that were on the earlier models. This one doesn't seem to have any degradation on the inside. It seems like a poly type hose not rubber or as flexible as rubber. This hose also has a red line down the side, if that means anything.
So, to the question. Does anyone know what diameter hose I should be using to replace this part? Or should I just put this one back on? Is it a special type of hose or can I use a regular fuel line of some type?
thanks

Oh my. this might have gotten much worse. There is a second grey hose on the carb. Again, this is an 02, GTI, 5559 model. After removing the carb, and cleaning as per instructions on the forum, thank you very much for those directions, I removed the two grey hoses. I'm guessing they're about 1/8 " id. They are part # 44 and 60 on the Sea Doo parts diagram. Description is simply hose. Well the second grey hose I took off left a hose barb, on the, I believe, it is the high speed pump that was completely packed with dry corrosion. Kind of yellowish.

So, two parts to the story -
one, the hose was completely blocked. BTW, the hose is black on the inside. How do I know? It broke while I was trying to clean it. But I coudn't clean it. After breaking it I gave up and cut the hose at the blockage. It was a brass nozzle looking piece. Hmmm. Anybody have any ideas. I'm thinking I screwed up big time and that's some sort of valve that belongs in that hose.

Ok, so the second part. Once I cleaned the majority of the crud out of that barb, I couldn't get cleaner thru the barb and out anywhere. So I took off the small cover, it's about 1" x 1", four screws, the cover for the high speed pump, if that's what it's called (part 62 on the part diagram). Well inside is a quarter teaspoon of the same yellow powdered corrosion. So I cleaned it out, then cleaned out the ports from the inside going out and the hose barbs from the outside coming in. I still can't get any liquid cleaner to go thru. In the bottom of one of the ports, it looks like brass thread shavings or a spring of some kind. But there doesn't seem to be any reason for it to be there. And neither the spring or the brass port that was in the hose are on the parts diagrams.
So - anyone have any words of wisdom?

Right now the part is outside, face up with a puddle of cleaner in the bowl shaped cover, soaking the ports. But I'm thinking that I'm trying to clean something out that is supposed to be there.
I haven't tried cleaning the other grey hose to see if it too has a brass piece inside of it. It's getting dark outside and I've got to run.
thanks

Replace the hose with a tygon hose, I don't remember the exact size, I took the carb. to my local ACE Hardware Store and found a hose that fits. Any small engine shop should have it also.

Thanks for the info on replacing the hose. I'll look into that tomorrow when I'm in town. Darn, and I drove right by an Ace this afternoon and didn't think that they have a large area for small engine parts.
And as soon as I can get pics to upload (I have the pics but have never posted pics before) I'll post the part that I'm having trouble clearing out. The cleaner still hasn't made it's way thru the ports.

Another day and another lesson learned. I've attached a pic showing the part I was asking about. This pic shows it split apart like a book. Inside of that assembly was where I found the powder (corrosion). That part, the fuel accelerator pump, shouldn't be letting liquid thru it. After more careful reading, the test for that part is to use a pressure pump and check the outlet hose barb to show that there are no leaks. I can't find confirmation that there should be a spring (tiny) down in the port on the inside of that assembly but I'll have to assume it belongs there. And I found the test instructions that say to test the inlet hose barb to let air in but not out, I'll check that tomorrow.

The other pic shows the small brass piece I found in the hose. And I finally found that part on the parts diagram, it's #63, recharge jet. Well mine didn't have a hole in the middle so I guess it was a plug and not a jet as it was clogged with the same crud that was clogging that hose barb. It took me half an hour with a needle to finally chop the crud out and open it up to where I think it's clean. Carb cleaner doesn't dissolve the crud. I'm not sure what chemical would work better.

So for now, I've got one more test to do and once I get the hose from Ace I'll be good to reassemble.
Thanks for taking the time to read, and for the help that was given.
