Hello all. I am new to this forum seeking help. I have a 2001 seadoo gtx do that we have had in the family for a year now. It has had multiple things replaced Including intake grate, oil tank, stator, rectifier this morning and has had water problems that seem to have been finally taken care of. Now the current problem is that it will go up to 7100 RPMS when you give it gas and then suddenly drop to around 5000RPM and only do about 37 mph. Last summer it was doing 58 mph before the major repairs of impeller/wear ring and water leaks. This Memorial Day weekend after it went 60! But then we had water problems again and battery would not hold a charge. It would completely shut off at 30mph. We took it in this morning because after it being in service for over a month for a new stator, oil tank, and water leaks it was still running a bit off. The maintenance light came on and said 12V LOW so we charged the battery and had a new rectifier installed today. Now it runs and feels like it has all the power especially doing 7000 RPMs but it doesn’t go. It goes high rpms and drops to 5000 and goes to only 38. And ideas or advice would help! What

Your post is a little confusing... but it sounds like the RPM's are dropping. AND... that you had electrical issues.

SO... just because you replaced parts... did you go back and check that the system was charging, and at the proper voltage? A lot of these aftermarket parts aren't of very good quality and we see a lot of them fail shortly after install.

Yes the service place that installed the rectifier said it was holding a charge again

And yeah I know the post was confusing... there was just a lot to put out there and hard to go into enough detail about everything
