2001 seadoo gtx help

just tried running my seadoo but i put a decent amount of oil in it. I dont know if that is the cause but it over heated sounded awful and started smoking right away. If the oil is the problem what should i do

It means if it is a 2001 and there is no oil mixed with the gas you smoked your motor.

So the reason it smoked and sounded awful was due to to much oil ? If so should I just sifen it out

Do you know what an oil injected 2 stroke motor is? What kind of oil did you put in your ski?

I don’t know what that’s is but I put the right oil . But I put a decent amount and then the engine overheated

where exactly did you put the oil in at? are you sure you have a 2001 seadoo? Can you post a pic of the engine?
