2001 Seadoo GTI Bogging at full throttle under load

I have a 2001 Seadoo GTI that doesnt provide any propulsion at full throttle. I had the Seadoo out of the water last week; I replaced the wear ring and performed a carb rebuild. The engine started up perfectly and was running really strong. I didnt notice any problems with it idling or reving up out of the water. I then dropped it in the water and it started and ran fine but there was no propulsion. I was giving it full throttle and the seadoo was probably doing 7-10mph if that. I tried letting off the throttle and reapplying it many times and the result wasnt any different. It sounds like the engine is running great and at full throttle but the seadoo just barely moves. Has anyone encountered this problem? Any ideas?

How was it performing before the carb rebuild and wear ring repair? When you peg your throttle, does the carb open all the way?

So it's running at the recommended rpms at full throttle, just not going fast?

sounds like you need to pull the carb back off and make sure everything went back together correctly. did you check the pop off, and perform the checks outlined in the factory manual?

The seadoo was acting the same way before I replaced the wear ring and rebuilt the carb. I did these two to fix this problem, but it didnt help. Yes, I believe that the carb does fully open when the throttle is pegged.

Yes, I believe that it is running at the recommended RPMs at full throttle but I dont have a way to check this cause the tach is broken. It sounds like the engine is reving up as it should, but it just does move fast as all.

Do you think that a carb rebuild would cause the engine to run differently outside the water compared to in the water? It doesnt really sound like and engine problem cause the engine seems to run totally fine.

It does not sound to me like it is reving any where near max rpms.. it could just be the video

Get a tack on that engine. Make sure the carbs are opening all they way at WOT. On the trailer look down inside with the airbox removed and squeeze the throttle. How does your fuel pump look?

What you are describing is not a bog. If it sounds like it's revving up high, but you are not going anywhere it might be be captivating. You replaced your wear ring. How is your carbon seal? That can let air into the system if it is worn out.
