i am going to get some "black 80g" springs and yank the carbs out and change them out and also check over the entire carbs again and i will report back, appreciate all your help
Look from the bottom of the carb just under the butterflies there is the 3 tiny holes and a larger hole be sure they are clear blast them with carb cleaner untill a strong stream comes through. Will need to cover the larger hole with a finger
For what it's worth on my 00 951 I rebuilt my carbs with genuine mikuni kits and the springs that came with it were incorrect when I tested the popoff. I thought that was odd. So I had to put the original springs back in and the popoff was correct.
As critical as the pop off is. I would order the springs from seadoo on the RXX parts diagram. The number they list is not the same as the 80gram or the other 951 skis. It might be specific to the RXX.
