2001 GTX needing rebuild

Ive had a 2001 GTX for about 10 years now and this last weekend while out, the motor made a loud knocking noise for about 10 seconds before locking up. I’m assuming it blew up for what ever reason. It has about 130 hours on it. My question, I’ve called around to all the big dealers in my area (central MN) and no one will touch it because of its age and lack of parts. I hate to just junk it and would like it rebuilt if possible. Does anyone in this area know someone that can help me out and works on older machines?

Lots of resources here generally we do our own work when it comes to pulling the parts and managing the repair. I restore the old 2-strokes. Gonna be slow getting an engine currently. I also go through the whole ski. They seem to like it. Good Luck.
