2000 Seadoo Bombadier Millenium .. suddenly shut down, no power except to panel

Seadoo was running great, tune up, new plugs, battery. Completely shut down after riding for less than 3 hrs 2 weeks apart. Just shut down, no power except to panel & maint. light flashing, no chirp. Replaced ignition solenoid once two years ago. Could this be the problem again? Do they go out that often?

I've had them go out within a year. Try jumping the solenoid. If it cranks, replace it again.

If your ski just died on the water, I would be looking at connections, make sure battery connections are tight, free of corrosion. You may be getting just enough power to run the gauges through a bad connection, but as soon as you put a load on it, it won't work. Try jumping across the starter solonoid. If it fires up, then it may just be the solonoid as said above. But before you condem it, test the input at the connection for power when the start button is pressed.
