Hi. my 2000 Red Seadoo ran beautifully. about like 3-4 years ago and we tried to clean it up and start it up but. when we put a brand new battery on it and gave it new gas. which was all we did we didn’t drain the old gas yet. or do basically anything besides add a new battery and put new gas in it. well it cranked up but didn’t start. we put starter fluid into the carburetor and it almost started. but won’t give. and the filter isn’t reviving gas but all the lines are tight from the long thing that goes into the gas tank all 4 are in good shape but the gas just is not going to the filter and or the engine. please help us we aren’t that experienced with the fuel system on seadoos and we don’t want to get stuck paying 120 an hour for a seadoo mechanic. which is crazy but please help us.

Put some gas in the spark plug holes and see if you can get it to run. Sometimes that is what it takes several times to reprime the system to where it will run on its own. You should post in the 2 stroke section and you'll get more answers. My advice is to start simple with the basics before tearing anything apart.
