Hi I have a 2000 gtx rfi and it keeps fouling plugs. I just bought this 3 weeeks ago and was told it is not a fixer upper but it wont run over 700 rpms after plugs foul. Put new plugs in it will run like a champ. Awful lot of smoke comes out when first started. I have used all old gas and added 2 cans of sea foam with 2 fill-ups and still plugs foul. Any ideas?????

Is the oil injection hooked up? What's the compression? Try removing the spark plug boots, cut 1/4" off and reattach the boots.

Either the oil injection isn't working right (it is variable) or the crank seals are leaking VERY bad.

What do the plugs look like when they foul? Are they wet and oily... or dark and dry?
