Hi,
I have a 2000 GTX that recently had the grey fuel lines removed/new installed and also had what appeared to be a bad reed valve assembly (for lack of a better term...the mechanic at the local sea doo place showed me what was wrong with it - the assembly was broken - one reed was completely missing). Ran great for awhile, then starter went out - got that fixed now is running good at top end (61mph), but when starting out it revs up then bogs down, and you have to "feather" the throttle to get it going, then runs good in top end. Occasionally when you slow down and take thumb off of throttle the ski dies. Will start back up, though. I have not checked the plugs yet - heck haven't checked anything - I don't know what to check! Will check the filter under the front hood, but what else besides those 2 things? I read on some posts about an internal filter on the carbs? do you think that could be it. It runs really great otherwise but my son who is 5years old likes to go slow - this particular ski doesn't like to go slow - it dies a lot, but when you give it hell it really does do well!!! New 93 octane fuel with marine sta-bil added. Any help is greatly appreciated!
