I just bought two '96 GTX's on a Shoreland'r dbl trailer and plan on ordering a new set of wheels / tires; plan on keeping the originally spec'd 20.5x8.0-10 (205/65-10) tires unless anyone suggests differently - pretty tight tolerance as is with the fenders.
Shoreland'r shows a Load Range E as the spec for this trailer but that seams to be very much overkill.
Dry weight for each ski is 576#'s and trailer is ~ 500#'s.
Price is not an issue as it's a very minor difference between C, D, or E; I'm thinking of ride quality / bounce impact.
I would imagine the E rated tire @ 10ply would be the stiffest and give a bouncier ride compared to the others.
Thoughts?
Thanks,
Steve
