I just purchased a 99 xp and the seadoo 2 stroke premix oil used is hard to find. I live 20 mins from three major dealers and nobody seems to have it. Are there any substitutes for that oil? Also I think it's been sitting for a while, anyone recommend changing anything or doing any type of maintenance before riding? thanks

There are alternatives if you search this forum you will find lots of info about oils.
I use Quicksilver PWC oil. It comes in full synthetic which is what XPS is and it also comes in a synthetic blend.

You will find it at walmart on the automotive oil isle. Not with the boat stuff.
about $10 per quart for the blend and $15 per quart for full synthetic

I don't know the prices on Gallons but they have them.

whatever you decide on, stick with it - I use amsoil blue in 95 and orange in the boat because the power valves. always carry a spare quart so you do not gel your oiling system.

yeah i been running the xps in mine but and switching to amsoil due to i can get it cheaper and it gets shipped to my house..

Riverside, CA.....check West Marine off Tyler ave for quiksilver PWC, or hit-up Malcolm for seadoo oil.

You know anything about the ski....last serviced, raves cleaned, carbs gone thru....i'm in ur neck of woods, bud......O.C.
