I am having a problem with my 1995 Seadoo GTX. Dual Carbs 657X motor. I recently got carb kits and removed the carbs and Rebuilt them. The ski ran good but lacked top end and the carbs had not been touched in what looked like EVER, I cleaned the carbs and blew out all passages (everything was dirty) and found both internal filters were clogged with debris. The ski has had the grey lines repl already. Now when I ride it the ski has a slight low end Bog and SURGES at WOT :( starts and idles fine. If I apply a little choke the Surge seems to go away or when making left hand turns. The carbs are super clean now and the fuel is fresh. I have used this for 3 months and it only Surged when cold but now idk what I could have done wrong because it is worse, Your help is appreciated. Thank you

Throw that aluminum Fuel Selector valve in File #13. Replace with a plastic one.

Clean the carbs again.

I'm a pro... semi pro... whatever you want to call it... I work on bikes, but get stuck with water craft all the time.

Anyway... I made a post a few weeks ago about a carb rebuild that I did, and it ran great for on trip. The next time out... the front jug was cold. A screw vibrated out, and was keeping the diaphragm from letting fuel into the carb.

With as dirty as you were saying they were... I'd pull them and recheck everything.

To me... it sounds like you have a fuel supply problem. And as said above... the selector valve could have sent enough junk into the carbs (after the cleaning) to cause problems.
