1999 Seadoo XP rewiring issues

hello i am trying to help my neighbor who has remove his engine to replace it. Trouble is he don't remember where the wires went smh..I didn't remove it so I can only guess , he has three wires coming from the front that have round loops on the ends , two kinda run together while the other one is single. all three are black and I was thinking grounds but I didn't want to ground them and burn up his system please help a dummy out lol

I couldn't get a good enough picture so I traced the wires ..one single black wire runs up to the back of the electric box .the two black wires that are together run into the electrical box.im thinking you are correct about them being grounds ..thank you for the advice I needed it lol
