Hello all,
New to forum
I have a 1999 GTX Lmtd. I was having issues with the ski late last year down and not getting much above idling speed, if i tried accelating it would stall unless I let back off the throttle. Took it in to local shop,t they said my lines look ok, carbs look ok, but the fuel selector switch was gummed up (the switch to turn from off, on, reserve may be different name for it). Local shop replaced this to the tune of $500. I get it out on the lake and....didnt fix it issue. As I played with the ski for a bit out on the water I figured out if I pull the choke out about 1/4 way the ski gets moving, I can then push choke back in and the ski runs just fine, until i bring it back down to idle, then it's back to the same, pull the choke just a hair as I accelerate, push it back in and ski runs like a champ. Any thoughts on what might be causing this?
thanks!
