1999 Seadoo Challenger 1800 Trailer

The documentation on my Seadoo says it has a dry wieght of 1865 pounds. Should I have a trailer with 4 wheels? The wieght restriction on the wheels I have states 1440 pounds.

nah...that trailer came w/ that boat, but think'n, the weight rating is each tire, so puts around 2880lbs total..?

:agree: the weight rating on the tires is each. Check the sticker on the trailer for the gross weight rating and also check for a curb weight number. the dry weight of the boat + the curb weight of the empty trailer should be less than the weight rating for the trailer...

If you don't have any sticker, then just look for a seadoo decal, if its there, you're probably just fine.

Thanks for the info. Just bought new wheels so I wanted to make sure I was OK.
