1998 XP Limited Crankshaft question

Ordered a new crankshaft from ebay, its a wsm brand. They must have sent the DI version because it has bigger teeth on the gear in the center so it wont align with the counterbalance shaft.


Is it possible for the DI version to work if i ordered the DI version of the counter balance shaft??

I just went through hell and back on this last summer. 787 engines the 95 version had different teeth than 96 up. One has shard pointy teeth, one had wider flat tips. Same scenario so I don't doubt it. I do typically see listings isolate the di crankshaft and that makes sense why. Make sure you put a fresh counter balancer on that thing

the 951 DI counter balancer shaft supports an air compressor - so.. no. you need the correct parts.
