What’s the downside of the RFI? I’ve only had carbureted Sea Doos. I’m looking at a pretty clean 98 GTX RFI.
I’m a automotive mechanic so I’m not afraid to work on stuff but I do enjoy the simplicity of the old carb models.
Just don’t want to jump into a constant headache.

Electrical issues, injectors and fuel pumps. When they work they are great and use less fuel. When they don't is is a huge PITA compared to a carb rebuild.

I like the fuel injection especially if women are riding the ski and the RFI is pretty straight forward. All my skis are carb though. :)
