1998 GTX RFI

What’s the downside of the RFI? I’ve only had carbureted Sea Doos. I’m looking at a pretty clean 98 GTX RFI.
I’m a automotive mechanic so I’m not afraid to work on stuff but I do enjoy the simplicity of the old carb models.
Just don’t want to jump into a constant headache.

Electrical issues, injectors and fuel pumps. When they work they are great and use less fuel. When they don't is is a huge PITA compared to a carb rebuild.

I like the fuel injection especially if women are riding the ski and the RFI is pretty straight forward. All my skis are carb though.

Thanks for the input. Think I’ll wait for a clean carb model GTX to pop up.
