i bought a 1998 gtx ltd the engine was sitting and its messed up. i'm replacing it. along with it i'm replacing every hose (fuel, water, oil... everything) does anyone know what sizes all the hoses are and about how much of each size i need? also what would be the best way to get the oil out of the tank?
thanks for your help in advance!

I bought two spools of hose 1/4... and 1/2.... and a bunch of clamps.... and a case of beer.... when I was finished I was finished:cheers: I recommend go buying a suction/ transfer pump... you need it to clean the fuel tank.. that was done on the second day....it's easier if you remove the carbs to do the carb hoses... can't see it being done with them installed.....do nottake the throttle cable loose from the bracket/ remove braket from carb... then remove cables from the assembly...

good luck and go slow

thanks alot man. i actually took my engine out and just got another engine with carbs and its pretty nice. but i wanted to replace anything and everything i can to keep junk from getting in the engine. you said 2 spools? about how many feet on the spools you got? also the guy i bought the engine from set it up for premix what do i have to change in the fuel tank? and is there anywa to connect to oil tank to the fuel tank since i wont need the 2 seperated

each spool is about 25 feet... you never have enough.. for other projects or repairs why mess with premix... check other posts in this forum for info as to why..... the oil injection system in sea doo's is great. when adjusted right... don't mess with a good thing....I think I answered all your questions ... just remember make the beer cold and the music loud and work goes quickly.....

Dan
