1997 speedster fuse amp help!!!

On the fuses under the front storage compartment i noticed alot of the circuits are missing fuses except for one. i put a 5amp fuse in them and they blow immediatly and tried a 15amp and the same thing and smoked. is it supposed to have a bigger amp like 20 or more or is something else wrong? again its the fuses in the front storage compartment

Im not sure which one you are talking about. Get a shop manual for your boat. It will be the best investment you make. Is there anything on your boat that does not work?

the manual doesnt show or im just blind. but the 12v power plug doesnt work. the fan doesnt turn on and none of the lights. like i said under the sterring wheel after you take out the front compartment there is a panel that has spots for i believe 4 fuses. what amp fuses go in them? i tried 5 and it blew and then 15 in one of them and it blew also and smoked before i took it out.

Maybe that is why the fuses are missing. Previous owner took them out because there is a short in the feed to that panel. I would bet a single 12 volt wire feeds the whole block and it has a short somewhere.
