** 1997 SeaDoo XP - No buzzer, no power, brand new battery**** Clueless!?

I took Seadoo to lake Friday ran wonderful. Took to lake Saturday, put key on post....nothing at all. Jiggled key for about 20 minutes, finally started. Rode to shore. Cut it on and off on and off. Took key off post, back on, never started again. VTS just barley clicks. None of gauges move. Brand new battery, 2 days old. I'm thinking it could be my MPEM but not sure. 5 amp fuse isn't blown, all fuses are good. Any pointers or help would be wonderful. Thanks

sounds like the rectifier is bad....charge your battery, then volt test it while holding 5500rpm, should get reading between 13.5-14.5, if over or under, than rectifier is bad

But could a recitfier keep engine from turning over? When I put the key on the DESS post, it acts like key isn't on post at all. If you press start button with key off, no gauges show sign off life either
