I am going to be replacing all fuel lines in my 1997 Seadoo GSI and i was curious if anyone happens to know length/size of the hoses that will be needed in order to do so. I have read up on a problem with the original lines deteriorating and want to replace them before it causes havoc.

Also my dash was fried and i was curious if it can be replaced with an aftermarket one. Im aware the original is hard to find one due to the age and the ones available being expensive but was curious if an aftermarket one could be purchased and installed.

Skip the aftermarket parts and get a good used one from Minnetonka4me AKA Nick @ westside Power Sports.

For the fuel line just buy a spool of standard 1/4" black automotive fuel hose.

I agree with miki d...

Contact Nick as he has those parts you need.

As for the fuel lines. You're very lucky no seizure has occurred yet with those grey lines. I just bought my buddy's '96 GTi and it had the original Tempo lines. I pulled the lines and the green goo was oozing out of carb inlet nipple! The microfilters in the carbs were very clean though! Surprising!

I also run a '96 GSX and it also had those lines(this was way back when). I had replaced those early on with Shields 368 Low Permeation A-1 USGC approved Line from West Marine at $3.68 per ft. Was a bit pricey. Bit that same line is now $6.99/ft.! No thanks! But zero issues with that line for many years already.

The GTi needed new lines as well and I found a guy(took a chance) on eBay and he sells MPI A-1(fire rated)(B-1 isn't) USCG approved line for $2.16/ft. and shipping only took 2days to L.A. from Pennsylvania. QUICK!!!

1/4" line needed(like yours), I measured the old lines at 16' 3" total length without the vent lines and bought 19' @ 2.16/ft. is $54.67 w/shipping.

No affiliation with "Curt" on eBay. But I felt/looked at the line he sent and it was nice quality stuff. Thick walled lines!

Your choice of course where you get your line from and the quality.
